What makes our environment superior to others?

Redundant Network Infrastructure

We use multiple gigabit uplinks from every CDP backup node to aggregate switches for both private and public connections. Numerous Intel PCI-e network interface cards are in place to alleviate strain on servers in our R1Soft cluster. This configuration provides an additional layer to ensure your solution is fully redundant at the server level.

Redundant Hardware

Multiple servers are provisioned in hardware RAID-10 or RAID-50 (with BBU) configurations in a clustered R1Soft environment to ensure that you will always be able to initiate and retrieve backups. We only use quality Supermicro motherboards and cases and multiple Western Digital or Seagate hard drives coupled with state-of-the-art Adaptec or 3ware Hardware Raid Cards. All hardware has been fully tested and assembled by our engineers to ensure reliability and quality assurance. The end result is simple: a robust backup environment you can rely on.

True Support

We will not only customize a backup solution to your needs, we will deploy and support that configuration. Having trouble restoring files using our easy-to-use web portal? Maybe you are concerned that you are not retaining all the backups that your business needs? Never fear -- our professionals are here to help. Just a phone call or ticket away, our staff will make sure that your R1Soft backup solution is continually tailored to your needs.

Efficient Backups

Why waste precious bandwidth from your monthly commits in order to keep your data secure? With Gigenet's R1Soft Backups, your Gigenet server can be connected to our resilient gigabit private network. Traffic passed over our extremely fast private network is free for servers within our datacenter. You will never have to pay additional bandwidth fees in order to make sure your data is protected. In addition to conserving paid public bandwidth and increasing backup speeds, Gigenet's R1Soft backup solution incorporates continuous data protection that is incremental. As a result, you no longer pay to store the same data more than once and can significantly lower the strain on your production servers during their backup intervals; only changed data will be targeted.
